Team Industries has stepped up the bar again for driven clutch performance. They redesigned their standard clutch (which has been the performance clutch of choice in the OEM and aftermarket) to improve efficiency. This new clutch is 1 lb lighter than their previous design. To reduce friction, it has a new finish on the hardened shaft, and the length to diameter ratio has been improved. Cooling efficiency is better, it runs 10-15? cooler. This improves belt life, and reduces the chance of performance loss from heat saturation considerably. This is possible through a new rib design that improves cooling and reduces wind drag. It uses a new helix with angles that cross exactly to the helix angles on their standard clutch, but requires only four fasteners. All said, this clutch delivers 2-3 MPH higher track speed than their standard clutch. Sold as a complete assembly less helix and spring. Choose and order your helix and spring seperately. Helixes designated with an 'F' are Full Progressive angle, with a .46 are a multi-angle with the first angle being 0.460 long. |
